Coinbase Introduces Real-Time Price Alerts for Crypto Traders, Messari Partners With Blockfolio

Leading US crypto exchange Coinbase has launched real-time price alerts on its mobile app. Crypto traders and investors will now be able to track price movements on their favorite cryptocurrencies.

According to the announcement,

“Combined with in-app news and our informational asset pages, this feature is another step forward in making the Coinbase app the best place for you to find the information you want on crypto.”

The next time users log in, they’ll be prompted to enable alerts and build a watchlist to track crypto price moves and swings.

The company says automated price alerts will be available for all tradable assets on Coinbase and that the new functionality will allow users to brush up on market performance by tapping into relevant news and insight.

Meanwhile, crypto news, pricing and research firm Messari has partnered with Blockfolio, the leading free Bitcoin crypto portfolio tracker app with over five million downloads.

The collaboration aims to deliver more transparency and data integrity for crypto investors who rely on accurate information to make decisions about buying and selling digital assets.

“Through this partnership, Blockfolio will now feature full profiles on cryptoassets, powered by Messari. In addition, Messari has integrated Blockfolio Signal, a tool that provides direct updates from project leaders, into Messari asset pages.”

Blockfolio can also be integrated into messaging apps such as Slack.
